CLIENT-ONLY IN THE STUDIO

Although a friend or family may accompany you to your appointment, they will not be allowed into the Studio due to the current situation with COVID-19. In addition, it is important that the Instructor and students have their full focus on you, the client. Friends and family tend to be a distraction for both the client and the Artist.


CHILDREN, TODDLERS, AND BABIES
We must kindly ask that you do not bring children with you to your appointment. No other guests are permitted in the Studio at this time, as they are a distraction to the Artist, as well as other guests. Thank you for your understanding.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Micropigmentation is a time-intensive service. When booking your appointment, we reserve a designated amount of time specifically for you. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking your appointment. If you need to cancel for any reason, we require that you cancel at least 48 hours prior to the start of your appointment time, so that we are able to offer this time to another client. If your appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours notice or in the case of a no-show, you will lose your booking deposit and will be required to pay an additional deposit if you reschedule.

TARDINESS

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment. We want to allow you to have time to make yourself comfortable before we begin. The best way to access the Academy is Route 3, from 95 we are exit 130 towards Fredericksburg, get into the left lane and as you go through the traffic light at McDonald's, Westwood Office Park is immediately on the left, you will notice all the buildings have green awnings. Enter at the main entrance where you see the advertising kiosk, and come straight back to the last building on the left. Westwood Office Park is located across from the Burlington Coat Factory and next to Staples. If you have any problems locating us, please call the Academy immediately so we may assist you. at (540) 548-3900 and press zero to be directly connected to a staff member.

If you are late it will compromise the amount of time the Instructor and Students have to spend on your procedure, which in turn compromises your results. In the event that a client is more than 30 minutes late, the procedure may be canceled, and you will lose your booking deposit, as we are not able to book this time for another client. In order to reschedule and book a new appointment, you will have to pay another non-refundable booking deposit.

 

FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS & TOUCH UPS
Touch-up appointments are $50 and must be scheduled separately. They are to be scheduled at the time of your initial appointment or online. It is required that your appointment is scheduled in advance between 6 - 8 weeks from your initial appointment, due to limited scheduling at times. In the event of a cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice or a no-show, the follow-up will require a deposit to book a new appointment and be charged a $50 fee. All touch-up appointments booked between 10 - 14  weeks will be $75, and are required to be paid at the time appointment is scheduled. 

 

RIGHT TO REFUSE TREATMENT
Although it is extremely rare, we reserve the right to refuse treatment for the following reasons. The full-service fee will still apply, as we are not able to book this time for another client.


● Undisclosed skin condition (including sunburn/suntan)
● Using Retin-A & Skincare products

● Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
● Any unacceptable behavior that may compromise the Instructor and Students' ability to work safely and comfortably toward the desired results, or may disrupt other clients.
● Being rude or disrespectful. This does not happen very often because who would be rude to the artist whom you want to do cosmetic tattooing on your face? In the event that this does happen, the Instructor reserves the right to dismiss the client. All efforts will be made to resolve the situation. However, if the Instructor feels it cannot be resolved or that the client cannot be satisfied. The Instructor reserves the right to refuse treatment.
